Weather Update:

There have been a lot of questions about the weather.  The short answer is…the show is RAIN OR SHINE. There is NO rain date!

As long as we can be on the beach, that is where you will find us!!  If the City determines it is unsafe to be outside, a shelter in place order will be put into place until it’s once again safe to resume activity.  Keep an eye on our social media pages (Facebook & Instagram) for updates.

The forecasts for the weekend are all over the place as of now depending on what site you look at.  The weather changes like crazy on an island like Wildwood,  especially with high humidity. There is always a chance of a pop up storm, but often it passes Wildwood by without anything. Local myth calls it the “Wildwood Bubble”, let's hope that holds up.

For those of you putting up tents or canopies, be very aware of the weather and the wind.  Make sure you are anchored down, or take it down completely. You are parked in very close quarters and we don’t need any flying tents in the parking areas.

2024 EVENT INFO

WHAT DO I DO IF MY MAILED PACKET GETS LOST OR IS NOT DELIVERED?

If your registration envelope containing your windshield sticker does NOT arrive in time or gets lost in the mail, please be sure to have a copy of your ticket and ID readily available when you arrive at the beach entrance to show our staff.  Once on the beach, another staff member will check you in and provide a replacement sticker.  Please note that they are one-time use stickers; so do not attempt to take them on and off your Jeep!  Also, once checked-in, your windshield sticker will be marked.  Please do not remove this marking until the conclusion of the event.

TRAILER PARKING:

Trailer parking will be on the beach and available starting Friday at 9 am.   All tow rigs must have 4wd to access the trailer parking area.  Trailer parking is for parking only and is not a 24-hour secured location. Please note that this is not to be used as your base camp for the weekend. Once you have unloaded your Jeep, you should not be returning to the trailer parking area until you are ready to reload your Jeep and leave the event.  Anyone needing trailer parking must enter the beach at E. Cresse Ave.

ADDITIONAL FAQ's:

  • There is a ZERO tolerance of excessive noise/music policy in place.  We understand that people would like to enjoy some music while relaxing on the beach, but if we have to speak with you about the volume of the music in your Jeep you will be issued a noise pollution ticket by Wildwood Police Department and you will be asked to leave.  We want you to have a good time, but we are also asking that you be courteous of those around you and in the community.  This is your warning!

  • As you are probably aware, all towns are keeping a close eye on events that involve vehicles of any type due to issues that have taken place over the past few years.  We have never had any issues with our events (thanks to great participants like you) and would like to keep it that way!!  Please be sure to obey all rules and regulations, both while at the event and enjoying the City of Wildwood, so that we can ensure that we will be able to continue our tradition of Jeep Invasion on the beach!!

  • Camping is not allowed on the beach.  Everyone must leave the beach each night.  The event ends at 5 pm both Friday and Saturday; therefore you must have your Jeep off the beach by 6 pm.  Sunday the event is over at 1 pm, thus all Jeeps must be off by 2 pm.

  • Pets are not allowed on the beach by City of Wildwood ordinance. Registered service animals are permitted.

  • Alcohol, smoking, and grilling are also not allowed on the beach by City of Wildwood ordinance.

  • If you are setting up a tent or an umbrella in the designated area behind your Jeep, please make sure it is adequately secured to the sand as it’s always breezy on the beach and we don’t need flying projectiles.

  • New this year are end of aisle flag markers to help identify where you parked or if you need to notify us of your location in an emergency situation.
